The mission was to create a poster for the upcoming Lauren Bacall Exhibition at The Museum at FIT. Our target audience was people in the Millennial's, otherwise a large group of younger people who most likely would not know who the late Lauren Bacall is. During our Research we found that Lauren Bacall's overall persona was very similar to that of Regina George, a fiction character for 2004 Cult Classic Mean Girls. As a result we decided to borrow the look and feel of the "Burn Book" for the Mean Girls movie to use in out poster to create an instant recognition with our target audience. In addition we added Lauren Bacall's signature, seductive glare along with her lust red lips, with the tagline "The Original Mean Girl" in calligraphic script.
